A woman who goes after herself will always find happiness and success.

They are contortionists. Their bodies can bend and flex in every possible combination you can imagine and they know how to melt their bones so that they can fit into any box that you want them to be in.

They are acrobats. Their limbs are not attached to the rest of them so it does not hurt when they break into pieces to entertain you; they have stopped feeling the pain of falling from tightropes and balance beams.

They are marionettes. Your fingers play lightly with the strings that bring them to life, nothing that they do reminds them much of themselves anymore because you just took control and their bodies were no longer theirs to know.

A woman’s body does not belong in a circus, it is not a performance and yet most women understand what it feels like to be center stage, spotlight shining on bruised ribcages, spines curving under the weight of hungry lustful gazes, skin vulnerable and naked and put on display– a woman’s body should not be locked up in a cage unless she is the one with the key but the world is filled with audiences that only care for the parts of a woman that they can see.
